Bark events are then analyzed on Voicari's servers together with heart rate, respiratory rate and activity (dual-channel approach), focusing on the lower frequency range below ~4 kHz where the emotional information is concentrated. The interpretation is individualized to each dog's profile (breed, age, size). Developed in Berlin, GDPR-compliant.

No. Voicari never delivers shocks, does not vibrate, does not spray and does not deter the dog in any way. It listens to and interprets the dog's signals; it does not train, punish or correct behavior. Voicari belongs to a fundamentally different category than anti-bark or e-collars: its purpose is to understand the dog, not to change its behavior.

Voicari is designed for dogs; the AI model was trained on vocalizations from dogs of different breeds, sizes and ages. A cat version is not currently announced.

Yes, the Voicari app is available for iOS and Android. It shows emotion, health, sleep, activity and GPS data in real time, incl. trends, recommendations and Pet-GPT.

Voicari recognizes 24 emotional states across 7 core emotional families grounded in affective neuroscience: Happiness/Play, Curiosity/Seeking, Care, Calm/Neutral, Fear, Anger/Rage and Sadness/Panic/Grief. Within these families, Voicari surfaces concrete everyday moods, e.g. playful, excited, curious, affectionate, relaxed, anxious, frustrated or lonely (missing you).

Voicari's emotion-recognition method is the subject of a patent application filed with the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) on 27 February 2026 (patent pending). It observes trends and patterns in wellbeing and helps you notice changes earlier (health alerts via app/email for unusual changes in activity, sleep, vitals or scratching behavior). Always consult a veterinarian for health concerns.

It does everything a GPS tracker does, and more: Voicari locates via GPS/LTE with ~5-10 m accuracy, updates every 2-3 seconds in live mode, and works in over 175 countries via 500+ network partners (2G/LTE-M). It adds instant escape alerts and family sharing (family, friends and dog sitters see live tracking and history; permissions stay with the owner). Unlike Bluetooth trackers, Voicari reports location with unlimited range, not only when a smartphone happens to be nearby.

An AI filter runs in real time directly on the device and separates the dog's vocalizations from all other sounds: only confirmed bark events are processed or transmitted, while conversations, background noise and human speech never leave the device. Voicari is fully GDPR-compliant; all data is processed exclusively on EU servers (AWS Frankfurt), never shared with third parties, insurers or advertisers, and can be exported or deleted in the app at any time.
