Within these families, Voicari surfaces specific everyday moods — from playful, curious, and affectionate to anxious, frustrated, or lonely (missing you) — so you see not just that your dog feels something, but what. These families are drawn from established behavioral-science research to keep every insight reliable and actionable rather than guesswork.

Our models are trained on a peer-reviewed dataset validated by animal behavior experts. Our validation dataset shows 95.87% accuracy.

Our AI model was trained on a scientifically controlled dataset developed in close cooperation with the Biorobotics Lab at Freie Universität Berlin. All recordings were collected under ethically sound conditions, no animal was stressed, harmed or placed in situations against its will. Trained animal behavior experts accompanied and annotated every recording. Our growing dataset is built together with dog schools and dog experts. We receive not just audio, but complete video recordings with contextual information: What triggered the dog in that moment? What happened before? What was the situation? This allows us to not only analyse the bark, but to cross-reference it with body language. Ear position, body posture & movement, all of this feeds into the assessment and makes our emotion recognition significantly more precise than pure audio models. Every new recording improves the model.

Yes. Our dataset includes 1,228+ dogs across 50+ breeds, sizes, and ages, and the AI is designed to generalize across all dogs.

Most smart collars measure location and activity. Voicari is the first AI dog collar focused on emotion recognition — through bark and vocalization analysis combined with vital signs such as temperature, SpO₂ and respiratory rate.

Voicari works entirely with your smartphone, but you can enhance the experience with the optional Voicari smart collar, which adds location tracking, heart rate, respiratory rate, activity monitoring, and temperature sensing.

The Voicari Link is designed for dogs above 20 kg. For smaller dogs, the Voicari Mini is coming soon, sign up and we will let you know the moment it is available. Up to 72 hours in active use. Considerably longer with power-saving zones — at home on Wi-Fi, for example. The collar charges fully in under two hours over USB-C.

The Voicari Link is water-resistant (IP67) — dustproof and protected against brief submersion. Rain, mud and a quick dip in the lake are no problem. For longer swims we recommend taking it off.

Voicari monitors your dog's resting heart rate and respiratory rate, collected while they're sleeping or resting. You'll see your dog's daily average compared to its usual baseline, helping you detect changes early and stay ahead of potential health issues.

Health Alerts are sent to your email or via the app if your dog's activity, sleep, vitals, or scratching have shown unusual changes over a longer period. This could be a sign of a potential health problem. These alerts are especially useful when your buddy is trying to hide their pain, or when their symptoms are almost invisible.

Bluetooth trackers only report a location when a smartphone happens to be nearby. Voicari uses cellular and GPS — with unlimited range, escape alerts and a collar built for dogs.

The collar microphone is active; but here is what matters: an on-device AI filter runs directly on the collar in real time. It continuously separates your dog's vocalisations from all other sounds. Only confirmed dog bark events are ever processed or transmitted to the app. Conversations, background noise, music, and anything that is not your dog's voice never leave the collar. Your home stays private at all times.

Yes. Voicari is fully GDPR-compliant. All data is processed and stored on EU servers (AWS Frankfurt) and is never sold to third parties. You own your data. You can delete your account and all associated recordings at any time.

Exclusively on EU servers, under GDPR. Data is never shared with insurers or advertisers. You can export or delete everything directly in the app.

After your first year, your membership renews at our standard annual rate. You can cancel at any time. Your collar continues to work with any active membership. Founders Circle backers receive a lifetime membership with no renewal required.
